Conduit runs, box heights and hanger rods depend on lines that stay accurate over long distances. A green tri-plane laser projects level and plumb planes around the room, so ceiling points transfer straight to the floor and runs stay straight from room to room. An out-of-level alert, both a light and a sound, warns the crew when the tool has been knocked off its plane.
